This pale ale brewed with mango begins with a subtle tropical aroma of passion fruit and mango. Golden-copper in color, it has a light body, slight hop bitterness, and malty sweetness, and finishes with a kiss of mango.
America's spin on an English pale ale, the American pale ale is similar to its English counterpart, but differs due to a brewer's use of American hops, malt, yeast, and water. The American pale ale will generally be cleaner and have less of a caramel malt profile, less body, and often more finishing hops. Overall, the American pale ale is refreshing and hoppy with an adequate malt base which balances the beer.

Harpoon Brewery was founded in 1986. While traveling in Europe after college, founders drank many wonderfully diverse, fresh, local beers, and saw firsthand how important local breweries were to their communities. Harpoon brought that sence of community to its brewery in New England.
